Grasmere and Dove Cottage the home of William Wordsworth are only a 20 minute drive from Ivythwaite Guest House, so whatever you choose to do, if you will be able to enjoy the splendours the Lake District has to offer.A 15 minute stroll will take you to the lively village of Bowness and the shores of Lake Windermere where you can take a cruise or hire a rowing boat. Nearby there are also numerous pubs and restaurants to choose from and a wide selection of Lakeland curio shops.We have our own private off-road parking and are set in our own garden where guests can relax in quiet surroundings.PLEASE NOTE RESPECTFULLY THAT WE DO NOT ACCOMODATE FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHT AND WE ARE TOTALLY NON-SMOKING.
