The Regent, externally, is a combination of a Victorian private hotel with an almost perfect example of 1930's Art Deco design.Internally both buildings merge to provide an open and airy ambience with an array of well positioned public foyers and lounges. As a town centre hotel the Regent cannot offer private parking although there is ample on-street parking on the adjacent pier. This 'disadvantage' does however mean that Oban's many shops, the distillery, the ferry terminals and stations are all within easy walking distance.

On the A82 North from Glasgow To Oban. In Oban follow the one way system and the hotel is opposite the pier on the right. On the A816 South into Oban, follow the one way system and the hotel is opposite the pier on the right.
