DIRECTIONS TOTHE LANGBURYFrom North & East M5 Southbound:Leave the Motorway at J23 &follow the A39 to & through Bridgwater following signs to Minehead. Remain on A39 for nearly 20 miles until the village of Carhampton.* Watch for turning on the right as entering village at bottom of hill. Take this road sign-posted Blue Anchor for approx. 1 mile over hill and into village, pass Blue Anchor Bay Garage on right & continue for 250 yds The Langbury is on the right. And the sign is visible from about 50yds.From South M5 Northbound & Taunton:Leave motorway @ J 25 Take A358 through Taunton. Continue on A358 sign-posted Minehead for approx 15 miles & join A39 to Minehead at Williton, thence to Carhampton and as above.From West:If approaching from Minehead or Dunster on A39 from West the turning to Blue Anchor is on the left at the far end of the village of Carhampton.* You will notice other signs to Blue Anchor en route before Carhampton ignore these as they proceed via Watchet and present an awkward approach especially in high season. |
