Location By road: follow signs to central London, and then toward Trafalgar Square. Pass through Trafalgar Square with the National Portrait Gallery on the left, continue out from the Square and into Duncan St. to the right of the traffic lights ahead is the entrance to Charing Cross Station and the Thistle Charing Cross. You can drive into the Station access road in order to check in and drop luggage but there is no parking permitted in that area. Car parking is available in Spring Gardens car park at an additional charge.By train / tube: from any Central London mainline rail Station, take the underground to Charing Cross Station. The Thistle Charing Cross can be reached simply by exiting the station through the subway, bringing you out within a few yards of the reception hall. On the Underground from Embankment, on the Circle, District, Bakerloo and Northern lines, head for Charing Cross, on the Bakerloo and Northern lines.By air: from any of the London Airports, Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead or City Aiport, take any train or underground train into central London and get to Charing Cross Station by use of the underground (Bakerloo or Northern lines). |
