Paddington Express (Heathrow) - costs about 11.00 GBP for the 15 minute journey, but if you have time I would usually recommend minicabs directly to the airport because using the Paddington Express requires a taxi from the hotel to Paddington, which adds 20 minutes to your journey and costs about 8.00 GBP. Gatwick Express - Is great value for money at about 11.00 GBP. This will bring you into Victoria Station where you can take the district line to Gloucester Road station. Alternatively you could take a taxi to the hotel which will cost about 7.00 GBP. DO NOT take any of the minicabs that hang around Victoria station as they will Charge high prices. The Underground from Heathrow Airport is best method of transportation (if you don't have too much luggage) at 3.60 GBP. Taxis are about 38.00 GBP. The Airbus is about 8-9.00 GBP but can take up to 1 hour. Do not take any minicabs that hang around the Airport. |
