This grade A listed building has been completely refurbished to a very high standard throughout. All Suites have a Chinese theme running through, you will find Terracotta soldiers, Crystal Chandelliers and Nobilis Wallpaper in the Hallway. Some of the Suites have kitchens purely for convenience because there is 24 hour room service available. The rooms are funished with Chinese laquered wedding cabinets, chest and desks with antique vases and figurines. There is Kempas hardwood flooring throughbout. The bathrooms are fitted with Philippe Starck sanitary ware, Hans Grohe taps and fully tiles in slate with LED mood lighting. Trains:From Waverley Station turn right and cross Princes Street, George Street and Queen Street. Once on Queen Street walk down Hanover Street onto Heriot Row. At end of Heriot Row turn right onto India Street. At the bottom of India Street is Gloucester Place and the hotel. From Edinburgh Airport/Glasgow:Follow signs towards city centre. As soon as you arrive on Princes Street you see the castle on your right - turn left down Charlotte Square. At bottom turn right onto Queen Street then take 1st left and 1st left again onto Heriot Row. Turn right into India Street; at the bottom of India Street is Gloucester Place. The hotel is approximately 7 miles from the airport.from Princes Street:Turn onto Hanover Street. Continue until you reach Queen Street then cross and walk ahead as far as Heriot Row. Turn left into Heriot Row and then right into India Street. At the bottom of India Street you will find Gloucester Place and the hotel. |
