Chestnut House Village Hotel is situated just off the B3141 in the old village of Woolavington. Right in Bawdrip at the garage and down the hill to the village church. Directly opposite is Lower Road. About 100 yards along, you will find Hectors Stones, the old village green. We are on your left opposite the post box. From the M5, leave at Junction 23 and head for Wells/Glastonbury. Immediately left to Puriton and Woolavington. Through Puriton, out into the country for a minute or so, and left at Woolavington crossroads. To church (200 yards) and opposite is Lower Road.A few travel times: Bristol and Cribbs Causeway 40 minutes up the M5. Exeter about the same. Taunton 25-30 minutes. Wells 30 minutes. Glastonbury 20 minutes. Street and Clarks Village 15 minutes. London 2 1/2 hours. |
