Mansion Hotel Bos & Ven has a glorious past. In 1919 some gentlemen decided to start a big hotel in the extensive woods of Oisterwijk.A year later, on June 15th 1920, the first visitors officially visited the hotel. From the very beginning Bos & Ven was a popular hotel in the higher class and in first class families. The most prominent guest of Hotel Bos & Ven, without any doubt, was the Dutch queen Emma who arrived by royal train in the thirties.In 1944 resided the from banishment returned government of Prime Minister Gerbrandy in Bos & Ven. For many years, the hotel acted as holiday-home for the employees of a banking concern. 80 years after establishment, in 1992, hotelier Henk Verhoeven managed the glorious revival of Bos & Ven and turned the hotel into a grand manner again.
