Our hotel is situated in the centre of Deventer (8 minutes walking of the trainstation). All 10 rooms are very comfortable and quied. We have a bride-room, two suites, family-room, 4 basicrooms with a shower and two basicrooms with bath in the hotel. All the rooms are with kitchenette, so you can cook your own meal if you want. The rooms are very nice for a short or a long staying.We have a shop in our Hotel, you can buy a different kind of products of different Hanseatictowns of Europe ( "Deventerkoek" und mustard from Deventer, thea from Zutphen, honey and candysugar from Hamburg, wine und "marzepain" aus LÜbeck, sweets candy from Helsingborg, chocolat from Brussel, marmelade from Kopenhagen, Fudge from London.....Behind the shop is a "Hanze-museum", all with woodenmalls to make Dutchbiscuit, coffeemills, chocolatemalls, old bakery-requisites and an old bakeryinterior where we sell a lot of Dutch candy.

In the shop you can find a contentinal breakfast from 7.00 till 10.00 o clock with a lot of kinds of fresh bread. We don't have dinner in the hotel but we can advise you a lot of nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. |

All the rooms has a kitchenette. The rooms will be have a bath or a shower. On the suites you can find comfortable chairs. On the rooms you can find a radio and a television. There are coffee- and tea-facilities on the room. |

The centre of Deventer is very nice to visit with very old buildings. We sell a nice city-walk for you in the shop. Otherwise it is very beautifull to hire a bicycle and make a trip belong the river The IJssel. |

Take the exit 23 of the motorway A1 (Deventer/Zuthpen), please follow the direction Deventer and follow the signs "Centrum". Please follow after the S-curve on the left by the trafficlights. Follow the road straight on (next to the river the IJssel). Turn on the right by the second trafficlights. This is the van Twickeloostraat, it is possible to park you car on this street. Wenn you following the street, take the second way on the right (Gibsonstraat) and straight ahead. The Nieuwstraat is a continutation of the Gibsonstraat. After 250 meters you will finding Hotel Hanzestadslogement "De Leeuw" (by the bakery-shop).Parking:The hotel does not have private parking facilities.The nearest parking facility is +/- 3 minutes by foot. Costs: EUR 3 per day.Parking tickets available at the reception desk. |

Check-in in our hotel is possible from 14 till 20 hour (monday till friday untill 22.00 o'clock). We are very glad to see you in our hotel where we check you inn with a cup of coffee or tea. |
