The unique thing about the restaurant is that the complete work of Johannes Vermeer is on display. Unfortunately the paintings have all been re-created. The well known artist Barrington Bramley has spent seven years to complete Johannes Vermeer's work. Feel free to roam around the restaurant to take a good look at these paintings and don't miss the ' Meisje met de Parel' the girl with the pearl, who is keeping an eye on the Grand-Cafe.
Room Information
Hotel Johannes Vermeer is a new hotel and boasts 25 rooms. The rooms have been furnished and decorated according to the last modern standards and offer facilities for both business traveler and tourist. All rooms feature color television with V.C.R. a phone with data-port and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Several rooms are equipped with air-conditioning. The buildings of the old cigar factory are linked to each other in such a way that each room has a special view of the city of Delft. On the front side, for instance, you have a view on one of the canals. On the rear side you have a stunning view of the 3 churches and the Town Hall of Delft.
