Hotel Ouwe Dijkstra is situated right outside the center of De Koog. Forrest, beach and dunes are within walking distance. The hotel has 12 basic double rooms with hot and cold water facillities in the room. The majority of the rooms is equipped with a television. Shower and toilet are available down the hall. Per room you will have 2 bath robes for use during your stay. We have room for groups up to 24 people. (Breakfast and touristtax are not included)

Douche en toilet is voor algemeen gebruik, en bevindt zich in de gang. Dames en heren apart. Op elke kamer zijn 2 badjassen aanwezig. In Hotel - Cafe Ouwe Dijkstra is gratis draadloos netwerk aanwezig.
Travel Information
FerryThe ferry to Texel leaves every hour on the half hour from Den Helder, 100 km north of Amsterdam. The boat ride takes approximately 20 minutes.The ferry from Den Helder rides from 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM. From Texel the ferry rides from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, leaving every hour on the hour. On Sundays and holidays the first ferry leaves one hour later during the summer season and two hours later in winter. On December 31st the last ferry (both from and to the island) is cancelled. Reservations are not necessary and can not be made. On busy days the extra ferry rides during peak hours (the ferries will leave every half hour). People travelling by bus or train have a good ferry connection.Directions on the islandFrom the ferry follow the road signs ‘De Koog’.In De Koog you continue, taking a right turn automatically. You will drive past the Texaco gas station. Take a left into the street ‘Nikadel’.
