Our trendy rooms are all equipped with Cable TV (with alarm-clock), telephone, two beds (2m10), private bathroom with shower and toilet. Tha location of the room is different: Deluxe rooms with bath are quietly located at the patio; Twin A Rooms with shower are both located at the patio and at the backside of the hotel (some Twin A rooms are connecting rooms); Twin B rooms with shower overlook the pleasant shoppingstreet of De Koog with restaurants, bars and disco.

Texel is the largest Waddenisland of the Netherlands with more than 13.000 inhabitants. Seaside resort De Koog has almost 1.300 inhabitants. The beach is at walking distance and takes almost half of all touristic accommodations. Den Burg is the largest village of Texel, and has a cinema. The newest village is De Cocksdorp in the North. The monumental character of Den Hoorn is worth a visit where you will find the world-wide famous malt whisky commoisseur(Willem Ham). In the harbour of Texel at Oudeschild you can catch shrimps. The smallest village is De Waal with only 250 inhabitants.Texel has a beatiful countryside and is beautiful in all seasons. A ferry leaves Den Helder every hour from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.The crossing takes about 20 minutes. Entering De Koog follow the curve to the right. After the gasstation turn left(Nikadel); Follow this street until the crossing(Badweg). Hotel Cooghen is on your left hand side.
