By carTravelling from Amsterdam/Haarlem (A9 motorway), take the Ring Alkmaar (Alkmaar circular road) and follow the signs for Den Helder. Take exit Bergen. In Bergen Village follow the signs to Schoorl. Just before the boundary with Schoorl village you will see the entrance to Blooming on the left-hand side of the road.By public transportThere are excellent connections to Alkmaar railway station. Alkmaar can be reached within 45 minutes from both Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport. The last few kilometres can best be travelled by taxi. For cheap taxi fares take a so-called 'Treintaxi', which you can obtain at the station ticket window if you can show a valid train ticket.
