We do not serve breakfast.You have your own kitchen with gascooker, fridge, microwave/oven, watercooker, coffeemachine and everything you need to cook your own meal. We provide free coffee, tea, sugar, coffemilk, salt/pepper and some spices.In the direct neighbourhood you will find all kinds of small foodshop's, a supermarket and take-awayfood. Also various restaurants from small to restaurants a la carte.

A complete furnished houseboat for max. 4 persons.Livingroom with a 2 persons sleepingcouch. Separate bedroom with 2 beds (Twin bedstead). A babybed is possible. Shower, toilet. Hairdryer, iron-facilities. Kitchen with gascooker, microwave/oven, fridge, watercooker and coffeemachine.You have your own entrance. There are no other guests in the houseboat, you have the whole houseboat to yourself.

Situated in a quiet, peacefull surrounding, just outside of the centry of the city, a 20-minute walk to the edge of the city centre. On your way you will pass the Westerpark with the Westergasfabriek which has turned into a new cultural area of the city, and through "de Jordaan", one of the nicest parts of the city, a cosy, lively old part where you find nice old houses, small fun-shops, nice restaurants and café's with terraces. Nearby there are different types of public transport. In the direct neighbourhood you will find small foodshop's, a chemist's, a farmacy, a supermarket and take-awayfood.There is always parkingspace - cheap parkingfare - on request parkingcard for a reduced fare possible . Quick access to the airport and trainstation by highway, tram, bus and train.

BY CAR: * Coming from Schiphol Airport, Den Haag you take highway A4 in direction Amsterdam. Then take Ring Amsterdam West (A10) direction Zaanstad. Follow description: Coming from direction Amersfoort (A1), you take the Ring Amsterdam Oost (A 10) direction Den Haag. Continue driving along this Ring Amsterdam: Oost turns into Zuid and when it turns into West take Zaanstad. Follow description: Coming from direction Utrecht (A2) you take Ring Amsterdam Zuid (A10) direction Den Haag, Continue driving along this Ring Amsterdam: when Zuid turns into West take Zaanstad. Follow description: Then take afrit (Exit) S103 (Haarlem), at the end of the Exit turn right in direction Centrum (=Haarlemmerweg). Drive straight on until you reach the 4th trafficlights, turn right there (den Brielstraat), immediately left again towards the windmill , right again and turn left into the parkinglot. There you can park your car. (Paid parking! between 9.00 - 19.00 hours, except on sundays). You will see our houseboat (no. 6) right in front of the lawn around the windmill. Coming from direction Zaandam, Alkmaar (A8) driving on Ring Amsterdam West (A10) you take Afrit (Exit) S103/ S104 (Bos en Lommer). Follow your way in direction S104 (Centrum) until you see the sign S104 being cancelled . Just before this sign turn right (Nieuwpoortstraat) Drive to the end, to Nieuwpoortkade, there you see our houseboat (no. 6) right in front of the lawn around the windmill. You can park your car there. (Paid parking ! between 9.00 - 19.00 hours, except on sundays) There is always parkingspace - cheap parkingfare - on request parkingcard for a reduced fare possible.Fast connections with airport schiphol and places outside of the city via "de Ringweg Amsterdam"BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: From the Schiphol Airport railway station you take the intercity-train to Amsterdam Central Station. From there take Bus 18, which is located at the busterminal of the Central railwaystation (on the very left bridge). Get off at busstop “Vredenhof”. (ask the driver to warn you where to get off). Cross this road and continue walking in the driving-direction of the bus until you reach the windmill. Turn left into the second path just before the windmill. There it is the second houseboat, facing the windmill, directly in front of the lawn beside the windmill. (redwood, with blue and yellow) It is a 10 minutes ride. If you buy a ticket called “strippenkaart” at the railwaystation you can use it on any tram or bus in Amsterdam; it is the cheapest way to move around troughout city. You can use one card for more persons.Comfortable connections to the citycentre by public transport: bus and tram. If possible and for a good price transport from and to Schiphol/ pick up luggage in Amsterdam / sometime we can transport you to another place.

Important: It is necessary to contact the hotel, right after making the booking, to indicate your time of arrival. At least 1 week before your arrivaldate we need to know your definit arrival-time! Reservations must be confirmed with a credit card within 24 hours by E-mail, fax or phone otherwise cancellation can follow! We speak fluently English, German and Dutch. Limited french spoken.Payment on arrival, cash payment only. Dogs: E 7,00 per night. One dog allowed. In case of 2 dogs or other pets contact us first.Normally during the weekend minimum stay of 3 nights; unless it fits in between 2 reservations, or on last minute reservations. During some periods there is minimum stay required. For special events/periods other rates will be applied.
