We are pleased to welcome you to Amsterdam and to the Sander Hotel. Our three star hotel has 20 clean and pleasant rooms, all equipped with TV sets, telephone and a safe. Each room has an en-suite bathroom. A traditional Dutch breakfast is served every morning in our breakfast room. We are located centrally, very close to the Rijks Museum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk Museum, the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam's famous concert hall, home of the world famous Concertgebouw Philharmonic Orchestra) and to the RAI Congress Hall. With just a short walk into the centre of the city, we are easily accessible by car and Amsterdams public transportation. Our friendly staff will be happy to give you information about the city and its many attractions. There is much to do and see in the Netherlands as well as in Amsterdam, and excursions can be easily arranged, which can include pick-up from the hotel. We will do our very best to ensure that your stay in Amsterdam, and our hotel, is a pleasant experience.

Hotel Sander is located in a residential area, just three minutes walking from the newly built Museum-Plein and very close to Amsterdams three major museums; The Rijks Museum, the Stedelijk Museum and the Van Gogh Museum. Also the world famous "Concertgebouw" is only a few steps away from us. We are also located near the Rai Congress Hall. Close by is the captivating Vondel Park, ideal for jogging, a relaxing walk, or just sitting and basking in the sun. At the weekends, during daytime, the park attraction features Pop (and other) musicians who give free public performances. Just a short walk from the hotel you will find the Leidseplein, one of Amsterdam's liveliest entertainment spots. There is a wide variety of recreation on offer here, which includes stores, theaters, bars, Europe's largest Casino, and many restaurants offering an assortment of food to suit every taste and budget. With our excellent public transport system, getting around the city is easy and pleasurable. Bicycles can also be rented for those who wish to find their own way around. |

Please mention your flight-number with your reservation. Other means of transportation are; bus nr. 197 (stop at Jacob Obrechtstraat) or KLM Airport Shuttle (stop at AMS Hotel Lairesse). Train to Station World Trade Centre, transfer to tram (streetcar) nr. 5 (stop at Concertgebouw). Train to Amsterdam Central Station, transfer to tram (streetcar) nr. 16 and get off 1 stop past the concertgebouw. From Central Station Amsterdam: Tram nr. 16 (stop at Jacob Obrechtstraat) or Bus nr. 170 (stop at Jacob Obrechtstraat). By car: Once on the A-10 Highway (ringway) take exit S108, follow signs "Centrum" into the Lairessestraat. We're located on the right-hand side. |
