Banks Mansion opened Spring 2004. Without any doubt, this location on the corner of the Herengracht and the Vijzelstraat, is one of the best of Amsterdam. Banks Mansion is situated in the banking and legal district, but also museums and luxurious shopping streets as the PC Hooftstraat and "de Negen Straatjes" are within walking distance. Also the flower market is just arround the corner. |

Parking: There are various car parks in and arround the city centre area. The nearest car park is the City Hall/Music Theatre (Stadhuis/Muziektheater). Municipal parking rates apply. At the reception desk Banks Mansion supplies 24 hour parking tickets, which enables you to park as close to the hotel as possible.At 2 min. distance from the hotel there is car park Geelvinck (Reguliersdwarsstraat). Costs (2005): EUR 3.20 per hourPublic transportation: From Amsterdam Central Station you can use tram 16,24,25. Ar stop number 4"Keizersgracht" you get out. Walk 50 meters back and you will find teh hotel on the right corner of the canal. Airport Dhuttle Bus: The Shuttle bus departs from and to Schiphol Airport every half hour and stops in front of Banks mansion. Tickets available in the bus and at thereception desk. |
