The present owners have transformed this historical Palace into a new dimension of accommodation to enjoy in the best way the typical Italian hospitality and the atmosphere of a private home, with only eight simply but tastefully furnished guest rooms full of character. The old travertine stone staircase, wooden beams and original brick vaults here and there are reminders of the building's great age. This very old, enchanting hotel offers eight charming rooms all tastefully decorated in ancient Tuscan style and with their own private bathroom. A central travertine staircase leads to the rooms, two on each floor, which keep perfectly the ancient atmosphere with travertine stone floors, wrought iron beds, antique prints, old writing desks and lovely curtains. If driving, you can drive to the Hotel for check-in and luggage loading and unloading operation. You can the park the car in paying spaces (approx 150 mt) or on a public road approx 5 minutes' walk away (just before reaching of Porta Romana). |

From Florence: from A1 highway exit at "Firenze Certosa" and take the free motorway toward Siena. Take exit "Siena Ovest" and follow the indication to "centre".From Rome: from A1 highway exit at "Valdichiana" and take the free motorway Siena-Bettolle until the south of Siena. Then follow the signs for "Porta Romana" gate.From Pisa: take the FI-PI-LI motorway toward Firenze and exit at "Ponsacco". Follow signs for "Volterra" and then for "Colle Val d'Elsa". Follow the signs for Siena and at sign "Siena" turn right and follow the ramp "Svincolo Colle Val D'Elsa Sud". At sign "Monteriggioni" turn right and follow the motorway "Firenze-Siena" for about 15 km. Exit at sign "Siena Nord". |
