Villa Maria is a historic hotel/residence and local monument, erected towards the end of the 1700's, the start of the 'romantic' age. The hotel has accommodated illustrious guests, including Garibaldi in 1758 and Goethe in 1802, both of them having left appreciative comments that are preserved to this day in the guest-book.There are 35 charming rooms, the most furnished in a contemporary style and with a maximum of attention to elegance and refinement in all particulars. It is placed at the foot of Montecatini Alto, in a splendid parkland of 5,000 square metres, populated with olives, oaks and cedars. All rooms have fridge with bar, TV, direct dial telephone, air conditioning and private bathrooms with shower.Villa Maria has a splendid swimming pool suitable for both adults and children.It is situated in the centre of the park, and has bar service and everything you need to spend a relaxing afternoon away from city bustle.There is also a sauna and massage service available on request.
