Caltagirone shows its origins because it is particularly cared by the local administration and its inhabitants. There are many places to visit in Caltagirone, above all "Maria Santissima del Monte's Ladder" composed by 142 steps, each one decorated with polychromatical majolicas, different according to subjects, colours and styles. |
