Welcome to our live Beijing webcam in China overlooking the Beijing National Olympic Stadium, `The Bird’s Nest Stadium,` in the heart of China’s capital city, Beijing. We have tried for months, to source and arrange a live webcam in Beijing, to feature for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games. At the last minute, on the day of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games opening ceremony, Friday 8th August 2008, we’ve been able to find a webcam location in Beijing overlooking the Bird’s Nest Olympic Stadium in Beijing, China. The special date of the 8th day of the 8th month for the year of 2008 was certainly our lucky date for the team at Camvista. We really couldn’t believe that the Chinese Authorities in Beijing would allow us to install a live `unrestricted` webcam overlooking the Beijing 2008 Olympic Stadium. Great news for webcam watchers who want to catch the party atmosphere at the world’s greatest sporting event, the Summer Olympic Games, live from Beijing in China.

Unfortunately, due to current smog conditions, caused by pollution in Beijing, our Olympic Games webcam overlooking the 91,000 all seater Bird’s Nest Olympic Stadium in Beijing might have a slight grey blurry view throughout the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Hopefully by the Olympic Games closing ceremony, on Sunday 24th August 2008 the smog conditions in Beijing will have cleared up to allow us to display a stunning live webcam view overlooking the Beijing National Stadium. Keep checking the Beijing webcam daily as the Chinese Authorities are working 24 hours a day to try and clear up the smog in Beijing for the 2008 Olympic Games.
